The fig confit with Szechuan pepper is an exclusive recipe that will go beautifully with your Foie Gras. Szechuan pepper from China brings woody, acidulated nuances which harmonise with the naturally sweet notes of the figs (no added sugar).

Chef's tips

Use a small coffee spoon to shape a blob of naturally sweet fig confit and delicately place it on your plate. Its peppery, woody flavour goes equally well with Goose or Duck Foie Gras.
